You will oftentimes see our lineworkers and/or contractors in your neighborhood. Our mission is to provide you safe, reliable, affordable, and efficient energy solutions with exceptional service. To do so, we maintain our electrical system in a variety of ways.
Did you know, we have over 4,000 miles of power lines? Vegetation management programs, system inspections, and construction projects are all important aspects of maintaining our electric grid to provide you the power you can depend on.
We will only operate in our rights-of-way, depending on accessibility. If we do not have proper access, we will work with our members to gain access.

Our lineworkers and/or contractors, Foothills Energy and Altitude Energy, are working on the following projects:
Crews are currently working in the Bellvue, Livermore, Red Feather Lakes, and Rustic areas.
As part of our Grid Communication Improvement Project, we use a contractor, MasTec, to install fiber-optic cable on our existing overhead power lines and into our existing underground electric corridors. You may see bucket trucks and crews with boring equipment in your area as we work on this project throughout our entire service territory.

Power pole inspections for 2025 have completed. Pole inspections for 2026 have not started yet.
Our contractor, Power Pole Inspections, performs these boots-on-the-ground inspections. We send members notifications prior to work beginning. Keep your contact information current by clicking here.
Drone inspections for 2026 have begun. Areas to be inspected include Red Feather Lakes, Loveland, Berthoud, Drake, Evans, Greeley, Kersey, La Salle, & Livermore.
