STEAM Funding for Classrooms

The Empower Grant Program awards $20,000 in total each year to K-12 classroom projects in Larimer, Weld, and Boulder counties. Grant funds are used to support educational projects that focus on STEAM learning objectives – science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

Grant funds have been used to purchase 3D printers, robotic kits, outdoor learning spaces, aquaponic systems, electronic music inventor kits, and more!

Applications are accepted between May to November of each year, with winners notified in December. See program details below for exact dates and application requirements.
