Congratulations Empower Grant Recipients

Our Empower Grants are awarded to area schools in support of classroom projects focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Each project is awarded up to $2,000 to help foster educating kids in our communities.

In total, 8 classroom projects were selected to receive $16,000 in grant funding. Congratulations to our grant recipients for providing these amazing education opportunities for kids in our communities.

  • Angelique Campbell, Riverview PK-8: Project-based learning grants
  • Briana McCormick, Fossil Ridge High School: Portable PA sound system
  • Jennifer Salvatore, Milliken Middle School: VEX V5 robot set
  • Juan Gomez-Moreno, Cottonwood Plains Elementary: 3D pencils for lunar colony project
  • Michelle Smalley, Severance Middle School: Computer Numerical Controlled Machine for Industrial Arts
  • Noah Walsh, Roosevelt High School: Solid Professor Online CAD platform
  • Yajaira Fuentes-Tauber, Rocky Mountain High School: Outdoor learning space
