Poudre Valley REA to Hold Annual Meeting on April 5

• Annual Meeting of the PVREA membership is held the first Saturday of April
• All co-op members are invited to attend
• Hear from local, statewide and regional utility leaders

(March 4, 2025 – Fort Collins, Colo.) – Poudre Valley REA (PVREA) welcomes all members to attend the local electric cooperative’s Annual Meeting on the morning of Saturday, April 5 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.

PVREA members are invited to the Annual Meeting, which includes a free breakfast, live entertainment by The Parlor Pickers, and the opportunity to engage with their cooperative and fellow members. Attendees will hear from local, statewide, and regional utility leaders as they review the past year and look ahead at the energy landscape’s future.

The Annual Meeting is a staple of the cooperative business model where co-op members gather to review the cooperative’s past year and, depending on election cycles, elect the board of directors.

All attending members are entered to win the $3,000 vacation voucher grand prize. Other door prizes for attending the meeting include a 65’’ TV, PVREA bill credits, VISA gift cards, and more.

Attending high school seniors can enter to win the $1,000 Luck-of-the-Draw scholarship. This continuing education scholarship is available to seniors who have not already been selected for a PVREA scholarship and are PVREA members or have at least one parent/guardian who is a member. Students must enter during registration and be present to win.

The Parlor Pickers provide this year’s entertainment. The local trio has been peddling their signature blend of old-timey country, rock and roll, and bluegrass for over a decade. Enjoy their performance during the buffet breakfast before the business meeting begins.
