October is National Cooperative Month, a time to celebrate what makes electric cooperatives different from other utility providers.

Delivering reliable, affordable electricity is central to what we do. As a member-owned cooperative, our responsibilities also include creating value beyond the electric meter, from exceptional service to energy programs, educational service to energy programs, educational opportunities, community involvement, and local partnerships.

These efforts form the foundation of My Co-op Cares, an initiative built around four commitments that highlights how your cooperative serves, connects, invests, and educates.

At its heart, My Co-op Cares reflects who we are and what we value. It carries forward the cooperative principles that guide us and brings to life our mission as the co-op you can count on.

We Commit reinforces our promise to put members first by delivering reliable electricity, affordable products, exceptional member service, and programs designed to meet your evolving energy needs.

We Act reminds us that service goes beyond electricity. Whether volunteering locally, engaging state or federal decision makers, or bringing electricity to communities receiving service for the first time, we answer the call to serve when help is needed.

We Reach recognizes that strong relationships create strong communities. In our partnerships, local organizations, member assistance programs, and opportunities to connect, we reach more lives and amplify good deeds.

We Educate represents our commitment to learning opportunities for members of all ages through scholarships, electrical safety education, energy efficiency resources, youth leadership programs, and more.
